What type of plastic should I use?

Depending on your needs, the type of plastic may vary. If your print doesn’t require specific characteristics such as strength or UV resistance, PLA is advised. For a piece requiring sturdiness, PETG is recommended. If the part will be exposed to temperature fluctuations, ABS should be your first choice since it’s the most resistant plastic in lower temperatures. Finally, if you need flexibility, TPU should meet your requirements.

Can I use 3D prints with food?

No. If you use a 3D-printed item without food safety measures, it will be prone to bacterial growth. To safely use a 3D-printed item with food, it is recommended to coat it with a “food-safe” resin.

What does the quality of a print change?

The quality of a print is determined by the layer height and the printing speed. A slower speed results in higher precision, and the same applies to using a lower layer height. Conversely, a layer that is too thick will create a striped effect. The standard layer height remains 0.2mm.

What to do if the necessary plastic is out of stock?

Some plastics are used less frequently than others. If the plastic you need for your print is currently out of stock, you can either wait or contact us directly for more information on restocking.

Where can I find models to print?

Some websites, such as Printables, Thingiverse, Makerworld, or Cults3D, can be excellent resources for finding pre-modeled, ready-to-print files. You can also visit our Other Files page to explore various available files online.
